100th Anniversary Celebration 1926-2026
100th anniversary Planning Beginning Now!
Camden High School (formally known as Patrick Henry High School) will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2026!
Committee Formation- During the summer of 2025 we will begin the formation of a school and community wide 100th Anniversary Committee.

A few ideas we have right now for co-activities with the Heights Theater, one of our community partners, who is also celebrating their 100th anniversary in 2026:
-In 2026 co-sponsoring a few silent films at the Heights that were released in 1926. We thought some cool films might be The Great Gatsby (1926) with a good connection to Minnesota through the author F. Scott Fitzgerald; The General (1926) with Buster Keaton; Or other films from 1926. Maybe have some type of roaring 20's theme with costumes?
-A reception for our 100th Anniversary Camden High School (formally known as Patrick Henry High School) - All-Class Reunion at the Heights Theater.... Maybe with some displays in the lobby with 1926 artifacts... Maybe a costume contest for those who dress in 1920's outfits? Make it look like a picture opening from 1926 at a venue that existed in 1926!
-A 100 year time capsule to be buried on the grounds of the school...It would be great to get an artifact from The Heights to place in the time capsule celebrating its 100th Anniversary.
-A play or vaudeville show at the Heights Theater celebrating its early years as "a simple neighborhood movie house showcasing local talent in stage plays and 'High Class Amateur Vaudeville Acts.'" We have connections with Camden High School Theater Department, Shakespeare & Company, Lake Shore Players, Landmark Center, and others so we could do a show from 1926 or an original production or vaudeville extravaganza. Having Patrick Henry High School theater students and alumni featured in these shows would be terrific!
